Hello and welcome - I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Michelle, an expressive abstract landscape painter based in Wales. I believe art has the power to ground us, soften us and bring us closer to who we really are. My Story
I create layered, emotionally resonant abstract landscapes that evoke atmosphere, memory and mood. My process is instinctive and primarily brushless - with a catalyst wedge and palette knife I use scraping techniques to build and reveal history on the canvas. Inspired by the beauty of the Welsh coast and the emotional terrain of my own life, my work explores the space between what we see and what we feel. Painting became a lifeline for me after personal upheaval and grief, and it’s now both my healing practice and my offering to others. Through my guides, courses and community, I guide fellow artists in finding their voice, letting go of perfection and creating with feeling.
